How Much Does a Personal Trainer Cost in Dubai?
By Personal Trainer Dubai · Updated 31 Oct 2026 · 6 min read

If you are searching for the cost of a personal trainer in Dubai, you have probably noticed that very few trainers publish a clear number. That is not because the answer is a secret. It is because the right price depends on several things that are different for every client.
This guide explains what drives the cost, what a good package should include, what to ask before you commit and how our own packages work. Our packages start from AED 999.
The short answer
Personal training in Dubai is not sold at one standard price. Trainers charge per session, per package of sessions or per month, and the amount varies a lot with the coach, the location and what is included. That makes two quotes impossible to compare until you know what each one covers.
Our packages run from AED 999 up to AED 48,000, depending on your goals and everything we need to plan. The same range applies whether you train alone or as a couple with a partner. We do not list exact package prices online, because the right package is worked out with you in a short assessment, not guessed from a price list.
What affects the price of a personal trainer
When two trainers quote very different prices, the gap usually comes from some mix of the following.
- Qualifications and experience. A coach with years of experience and recognised certifications such as NASM or IFBB has invested more in their craft. You can read more in our guide to choosing a personal trainer.
- Where you train. A coach who travels to your home, villa or condo spends time on the road, while training at a gym you already pay for removes that cost.
- How often you train. Two sessions a week and five sessions a week are very different plans, and a longer package usually changes the price per session.
- One person or two. A 2-on-1 session shares the coach's time between two people, which is why couples and friends often train together.
- What surrounds the sessions. Nutrition guidance, check-ins between sessions and progress tracking all take the coach's time, even when you are not in the room.
- Specialist needs. Women's training, body sculpting or corrective exercise for posture involve specialist coaches and more careful planning.
Training at home or at a gym: how location changes the picture
Many people in Dubai assume they need a gym membership on top of a trainer. With a coach who comes to you, you may not. We train at your home, villa or condo (including your building's gym), at a partner gym, at your office or outdoors, so a lot of clients train without any extra membership at all.
It also changes what you spend in time. There is no commute, no waiting for equipment and no crowded gym floor. If you live in a tower with a gym, as many people in Dubai Marina, JBR, Downtown or Business Bay do, a session in your own building is often all you need. You can see how that works in your area on our Dubai Marina and Downtown Dubai pages, and in our guide to where you can train in Dubai.

What a good package should include
A price only means something when you know what it buys. A solid personal training package should include more than a person counting your repetitions.
- An assessment at the start, covering your goals, your body, your schedule and where you want to train.
- A plan built around you, not a template, adjusted as you progress.
- A coach who comes to you, or a clear arrangement for where sessions happen.
- Nutrition guidance that fits your lifestyle and schedule, alongside your training.
- Accountability: a coach who checks in and keeps you consistent between sessions.
- Specialist support when you need it, for example women's fitness, body sculpting or corrective exercise.
This is what is included with every client at Personal Trainer Dubai, whichever package fits you.
Questions to ask before you pay any trainer
Whoever you choose, a few questions will tell you a lot before any money changes hands.
- What exactly is included in the package, and what is extra?
- How is the plan built, and who builds it?
- What certifications does the coach hold, and who will actually train me?
- Where do sessions take place, and who pays for travel or equipment?
- How is progress tracked and how often is the plan adjusted?
- What happens if I need to move or cancel a session?
- Is there nutrition support, and is it personal to me?
- Can I start with an assessment before committing?
Red flags when you compare prices
The cheapest quote is not always the best value, and the most expensive is not always the best coach. Be careful when you see any of these.
- A guaranteed result or a promise of a specific number of kilograms by a certain date. Bodies respond differently and no honest coach can promise this.
- No assessment, no questions about your goals or schedule and no plan, only a price.
- Pressure to pay for a long package immediately, before you have met the coach.
- Vague terms: nobody can tell you what happens if you cancel, or what is covered.
- A price far below everyone else with no clear reason. Check who will really be training you.
How our packages work
We keep the first step simple and low-risk. You fill in a short application, which takes about 30 seconds and carries no commitment. We then contact you for an assessment: we talk through your goals, your schedule and where you want to train, confirm that we cover your area and recommend the right package together with you.
Because every plan is different, the package depends on what you want to achieve. That is why our range is wide, from AED 999 up to AED 48,000, and why we explain it in a conversation and not in a table. We work with people who are serious about a real change, and we give them everything we have until they get there.
If you would like to train with a partner, friend or family member, see our couples personal training page. The same package range applies.
Is it worth the cost?
A personal trainer is worth it when you use the time well. The value is in the structure, the correct form, the progress you can see and the fact that someone expects you to turn up. If you struggle to stay consistent, or you have tried alone and stalled, a coach changes that quickly.

Frequently asked questions
- Do you charge per session?
- We agree your package in a short assessment, based on your goals and your schedule. We do not publish a per-session price, because the right plan is different for each client.
- Do couples pay double?
- No. The same package range applies whether you train alone or as a couple with a partner. In a 2-on-1 session you each still get individual attention.
- Do I need a gym membership as well?
- Not to train with us. We train at your home, villa or condo (including your building's gym), at a partner gym, at your office or outdoors.
- Can I try it before I commit?
- You start with a short assessment, and there is no commitment to apply. We talk through your goals and recommend a package before you decide.
